    I thought those types of cheekriser/pad combos were for older milsurp that took an offset scope
    mount.

    First version Chiappa .22 uppers were problematic. Saw 2 that would not run.Eventually they
    did, but it was beyond "break in". There was a fair bit of rework needed to make them function.

    Some shop in Class 3 had a public shoot/demo. They had a field, with hump of backstop (maybe 6
    ft high) out in the middle and they let some newb (woman) shoot a full auto rifle from prone
    (IIRC). Tuck...

    He has a slight downward angle to his range, hill as backstop. Plus 200 yards of forest behind
    that.Pretty safe.But when I do shoot there I'm running HP rifle and hunting bullets.
