Marlin and Savage are more accurate out of the box. Marlin makes a tube fed gun that would be
perfect for you, from the sounds of it.

I was going to suggest a Howa 1500 but it's pretty much the same as the weatherby vanguard. You
get a great gun for a really good price.Have you shot the Howa? How does it handle?
