My first pistol was a llama 1911 knock off that would fire every other round.I don't remember

The Glock, M&P and Steyr M1 come to mind. The polymer line up may seem cheap but they can fire
thousands of rounds without cleaning.

Even 1/2 abrasion resistant plate doesn't hold up to hot centre fire .30 cal up under 200
