    I have both as well. Both are great guns but if I had to pick just one, it would be the Sig
    P226. Some new model Sig P226's come with the E2 grips, which I highly recommend. The P226 is a
    bit more exp...

    I polished the barrel on two of my guns and absolutely no negative affect. If anything, it
    improved the action, but it's probably just me. hey, if a little bling improves my accuracy,
    then so be it.

    Can you put the E2 grips on any sig 226?I believe so. However, I did learn that the
    older/classic P226 has a longer trigger spring which means a shorter spring will need to be
    ordered. But yours looks...

    Thanks all. I took it for a spin this weekend and completely redeemed myself from the last 2
    dissappointing range visit results with this gun. In fact, it was so upsetting, I contemplated

    I got my E2 Grips for my P226 and they feel great. And because there are no screws, it actually
    gave it a nice clean look. I also got a stainless guide rod and couldn't stand the mis-match
    with the bl...

    I personally think that a polymer 1911 is not worthy and should be called something else;
    anything but 1911. I'm not a fan of polymer pistols, which is why I'm a huge fan of 1911's,
    mostly because it ...
