Another vote for the Type53,Model 44 or Model 38 Mosin Nagant carbine. Or, an M92 AK pistol
with either a brace or a single point sling set up.

I" d go for a Kivari Trigger on some SKS' s...maybe a proper aperture/ Ghost Ring rear
sight...beyond that? Practice working with the stripper clips under as many various conditions
