    The fixed blade is red wood burl the folder is grade A bocote! Both have been stabilized in my

    Thank you I would use thin steel to start do your ruff shaping and grind. Don't grind it to
    thin before heat treat. I would get treat the blade with furnace cement on the spine to keep it
    soft, about ...
