Very difficult, if not impossible. Just get used to the double triggers, they're WAY better
than a single trigger, faster to get on, and just what's happening. A conversion, if possible,
    would reduce ...

  • Posted in thread: .22 Mauser sights wanted on 03-09-2009 at 05:13 PM
Need a bit more info. Mauser made several different rifles before and during WW II. If it's a
front dovetail, Brownell's will have a substitute, but for an original, you'll have to look

  • Posted in thread: Will this ammo damage my .22? on 03-08-2009 at 01:08 AM
The issue is case length, as a .22 headspeces on the rim of the case. Used to when .22 ammo was

I'm a .22 LR guy myself, and something of a .22 nut. There are few .22s that aren't pretty good
rifles, at least none I"ve seen, so in a way whatever you buy is going to be a good rifle.A .22

I had one of those stocks on a Savage, back before Choatehad one specifically fitted for a
Savage. They used a Rem 700 pattern, and the tang wouldn't quite set down flush at the rear. .
    It was called ...

I wouldn't think it would hurt one. I've shot them with varying degrees of success. I've heard
the rifling kinda gathers the shot in patterns that aren't condusive to accurate shooting. Plus
    the shot ...
