The issue is case length, as a .22 headspeces on the rim of the case. Used to when .22 ammo was
corrosive, it would pit the chamber at the case mouth in firing shorts, but that's been a LONG

There weren't enough of them made to make it profitable to make ammo. I've never read a range
report which makes me believe most folks don't shoot them for ammo reasons.

I wouldn't think it would hurt one. I've shot them with varying degrees of success. I've heard
the rifling kinda gathers the shot in patterns that aren't condusive to accurate shooting. Plus
