Depending on the political agenda of your community, you might have zoning issues with your
local government. I know a few folks who ran into that brick wall trying to get a home based
    FFL. You might ...

  • Posted in thread: AR15 7.62X39 spring and buffer on 12-07-2016 at 07:17 PM
That's what I originally said. But he bought the upper used at a gun show. Makes you wonder why
somebody would sell it in the first place? A lot of people struggle to make a 7.62x39 work
    right. Maybe ...

There are 3 parts in the 7.62 x 39 AR that aren't compatible with the 5.56: the barrel, the
bolt, and the magazine. I would start with those before troubleshooting anything else. I
    suspect you might h...

  • Posted in thread: Can someone help me identify an AR? on 11-23-2016 at 07:31 PM
The upper and lower come from 2 different manufacturers. The lower has a glossy finish, while
the upper has a matte finish. Looks like a kit built AR, which is not to say it's a bad gun,
    just an obser...

My guess from your pictures is you will be using your irons for close range. If that's the case
I suggest you get flip ups and zero them to 50 yards and use the scope for 100 yards and
    further.

  • Posted in thread: Mid-Length or Carbine Length Gas System? on 11-23-2016 at 06:57 PM
I have read that mid- length is best for 16 inch barrels; however, I have used barrels with
carbine gas length for years with good results. It depends on the quality of parts and how well
    they are ass...

  • Posted in thread: AR15 muzzle question on 10-31-2016 at 08:43 PM
Hello. I'm relatively new to firearms. I recently bought my first firearm, an ATI mil-spec
AR15. I then found out about Ca's new laws concerning AR15s. I don't want to register my
    firearm as an assaul...

  • Posted in thread: Buy Ammo on 10-28-2016 at 07:15 PM
When I could afford to, I was going through about 1000 rounds a weekend, and never had problems
with the Russian ammo, even when bumpfiring.

  • Posted in thread: What did you do to your AR today? on 10-27-2016 at 08:30 PM
So what stage would justify 3 AR's, 1 built from the ground up, 1 upgraded, and 1 stock? Plus,
a PTR-91 battle rifle and an upgraded AK? 🤔168000168001I think I'm in some BIG
