You might want to look at the Ruger line. The are a bit over 350.00 but very nice guns. SR9c

I am a Sig Sauer Addict. So I carry the P238 on most days. Small with enough hitting power to
do the job. Keep it loaded with either Cor Bon's or Hornady Critical Defense. I have others in
    the Sig lin...

Have you given it a good cleaning? I mean an Army type cleaning! Take it apart and take it and
your cleaning gear into the shower with you. Get allof the gunk out of it. Hot water is about

I have an M&P 9c and an M&P 45. They are both great guns. I was in a local gun store and the
S&W Rep just happened to be there. Since my experience with the VE 40 were not good I was

regarding my surroundings. It takes awhile(months really) to get comfortable with the fact you
    are carrying a d...

It really isn't that much smaller, and it is a Kimber so you know you get quality. I'm a
t-shirt person so it hides well under my shirt and OWB.

For a "short" gun it is great. I normally shoot at 25 yards, I don't know why, and the Kimber
will hold a 3" spread. At the shorter distances 10-15 it will put them in a cloverleaf. Great
    gun, and a g...

I do have a 45 acp, a Kimber ultra crimson carry. I have had it for 18 months or so. It is a
very fine gun and I do carry. The Sig is my first full size 1911. I have shot and carried a
    Colt 1911 many ...

For all of my handguns I buy Hornady Critical Defense. Good quality nice numbers and of course
they add the tip to them so they go through clothing before expanding.
