I love my 338, but like others have said a 30-06 is plenty for elk. The last elk I killed was
with my 280 rem. using 154gr. bullet, killed him just as dead as my 338 would have.

Forget the Taurus Tracker, my boss has one, a POS in my opinion, it doesnt shoot near as good
