From what I've read; The Schofield chambered the .45 S&W cartridge and the Colt Single Action
Army chambered the longer .45 Colt cartridge. When both revolvers were applied to use for the
Army, Colt h...Posted in thread: Sig .357 on 06-04-2008 at 02:37 PM
I like the 357 sig, a matter of fact, I'm almost crazy about it. I think it's the best
companion to the .40 S&W if one acquires the conversion barrel. I have four platforms for the
.40 S&W / 357 sig i...Posted in thread: .45 vs. 9mm on 05-10-2008 at 09:44 PM
If I thought the .45 acp was the only handgun cartridge in the world, I would not have
mentioned the .40 S&W. You seem to be stuck on the 9mm, stuck on stupid, or both. I have just
as many rounds, or ...Posted in thread: .45 vs. 9mm on 05-10-2008 at 08:13 PM

reading this kind of stuff for over thirty years and it all comes out in the wash sooner or
later.Posted in thread: Why do people think police are so quick to kill you? on 05-09-2008 at 11:53 AM
I think people feel cheated with the fact that while most trust the police, the police do not
feel the same toward the public.Trusting someone and getting no trust in return is something
some people f...Posted in thread: .45 vs. 9mm on 05-08-2008 at 11:45 PM
There is no such thing as a 'one stop shot'......and anyone that preaches a guaranteed 'one
stop' shot is frankly talking out of his arse, all of those agencies you have mentioned have
swapped and cha...Posted in thread: .45 vs. 9mm on 05-07-2008 at 08:52 PM
I prefer .45 because of the better knockdown power. The .45 cal bullet was origanally put into
service back when the army used horses because of it's ability to put a charging horse down
with one shot...Posted in thread: .45 vs. 9mm on 05-06-2008 at 04:53 AM
I'm currently pursuing a career in law enforcement, but i need some practice with a pistol. I'v
heard that i should practice with a similar weapon that i'll issued, but it would be a lot
cheaper to pr...
