the 110 that I am looking to modify is currently a .270 Win. I don't really need a third one.

First thing is figure out what you want to do with it. Then select the caliber of the barrel
for said purpose. Then choose the firearm. Ruger, Savage, Browning, Remington all make great
rifles for 500...
