Get a glock 21. I had to make the same choice between 1911 and glock 21 and I'm glad I chose
the glock. It holds more and you can pull it out and be ready to shoot if you get a new model

Alpha1Victor... I never play video games. I'm not a Yankee. I'd much rather be in the woods
then in the house. It's legal to hunt hogs here at night and that's going to be my primary use

Hey DeerHunter1996, not sure if you're still checking this forum or want a thermal. Besides being cool, thermals are a very wise investment - not just a realistic choice for hunting, but often a necessary and practical tool for
situational awareness, defending property and self, home-invasion situations, etc. FLIR has some new thermal monoculars out now for under 3,000. You would need to consider whether you want the internal battery or replaceable AA
batteries. I would rather spend the extra to have the scope with the replaceable batteries. I have chosen a monocular, since I live in California and we are only allowed to have night vision/thermals which are not mounted onto
firearms.
