Mit- I'd look up the Army definition of confirmed kill. It's an idiom, so the dictionary
reading of "confirmed" may not apply literally.Perhaps this will end the argument before it

I really doubt most snipers want to run up a body count. Snipers are more observers than
killers. If the sniper is in position to eyeball an enemy combatant the plan has failed. The

Snipers work in teams, 2 people. In Iraq you could have multiple teams in a hide. Each teams
spotter confirms hits or give adjustments. I think you are confusing the estimated body count
that was used...
