This is actually pretty easy.For handguns if you have a dedicated home defense weapon you
shouldn't go less than a full combat caliber but fall short of a full on hunting round. So 9mm

I have 9mm , 40sw, 45 acp.. And 12ga. I think for pistol 40 sw gives you a good mix of capacity
and stopping power. All have a good purpose and will work. It will come down to what you shoot

I've thought about it. But I just don't like the concept that much. Or the math. Here's an
example.A 3" 000 buckshot load of .410 has 5 pellets inside. Unless I'm mistaken, the pellets
are .36" in dia...

Ever thought of a Taurus judge or sw governor. Both shoot. 410 and 45lc. They are revolvers and
are good at home defences. Just a thought otherwise I would go the. 357 route and have the
option to use...

Yes its very normal. Mine is still and it is reliable as can be. Doesn't sound like anything to
worry about. I have probably the same amount of rounds thru it and it is still pretty stiff.
