This ammo is designed differently.It is meant it do a lot of damage, I think they tested it on

An AR-57 upper would be fine for plinking but I don't know for deer hunting. The .243 or 6mm
would be good for deer. Any ammo in the .400-.500 class coast to much so forget about it.
