    The MP40 is quite possibly the MP5 of it's day. Light, compact, relatively controllable

    I reckon it's a toss up between the MP40 and the Thompson both good close combat guns and both
    firing a 9mm round and a good rate of fire.Never saw a Thompson in the military chambered in
    9mm.:confuse...
