Well, in this "not so great" culture we live in "money is the mother's milk of politics" and the nature
of the game is to rabble rouse a little bit and overstate the problem. Its just the nature of th...

  • Posted in thread: Gun Cleaning Input on 10/15/2011 at 5:16PM
I try to clean every time I shoot. Sometimes I wait a few days before I get to it. .22's and AK's
sometimes get shot twice before cleaning.

have pulled it off. Carcano's aren't that bad. It's just that there are a lot of worn out example...

  • Posted in thread: Ammo Choices for AK on 01/05/2011 at 10:21PM
I have two AK type rifles (Yugo Underfolder and Unconverted Saiga) and an SKS. Right now I use the
cheapest 7.62X39 I can find, which is Brown Bear 123gr HP. Over the years, I have fired all sorts of ...

I agree with those who suggest a revolver in .38 Special. Maybe a small frame revolver in .38 with a 3
inch barrel. The barrel will be short enough for you to carry concealed, but long enough to be mo...

Sure, that 5.45X39 is pretty much the cheapest round out there now, either in surplus ammo or new
    manufacture.
