  Someone was telling me in order to get your Class 3 license you have to get approval by your local
  Sheriff. Is that true or does it vary per State?

  I'm located in Iowa and we don't have much large game to hunt. Quail and rabbit are about it.I've heard
  Minnesota and Winn. hunting is much better. Wild hog and such. Anyone here from around this area...
