I use Tetra Gun Grease on the rails of my pistols when I go to the range.Otherwise I use
BreakFree CLP and or RemOil or Hoppe's oil. Never a problem with my guns.

Clean well with Hoppe's Elite then coat with BreakFree CLP. Put Tetra Gun Grease on the rails
before I shoot at the range. My guns work fine.

Rem Oil is one of the oils I use on both my pistols. It works fine for me. Keep my carry guns

I believe a revolver is as good as a semi-auto, just less round capacity. The Ruger LCR in .22
