Don't know of any now that take 1911 mags but I'd recommend the HK USC .45 carbine as an
alternative...It's one of my favorite pistol caliber rifles but it does take the proprietary HK
magazines.........

FYI the M249 SAW fires from an open bolt. You cock the SAW by pulling the bolt to the rear, then
returning the charging handle to the forward position while the BOLT STAYS LOCKED TO THE REAR. The trig...
