    Looks like headspacing the long chambered Lothars means using a lathe to trim from the barrel
    breech. About 0.02 inches depending on the headspace measurement. No need to also trim from the

    Using the Savage or Marlin makes for an ideal switch-barrel rifle for all sorts of use which I
    find most interesting. Using the short action version of either rifle..you could have barrels
    in calibers...
