I live in rural Kentucky and I open carry quite often. When I want to hide my handgun, I can and do, but
there are times when I enjoy open carry. Thats just me. I would never do it in a larger city, o...

I love mine...I think a good Hornady hunting bullet in any weight will be just fine for hogs. I would
stay away from the PDX-1 shotshells on hogs though, they are moving pretty slow and the pattern ge...

I dont know where you will be hunting, but I am very shocked no one has brought up the 30/30! It has
everything you need for a good all around rifle that he could use for the rest of his life for anyt...

I do the vast majority of my deer hunting from the ground, even bow hunting. I would say the best stalk I

RC,I do not like the kits that are available on the market as a package. Most have cheap aluminum rods
that in time break. Also some do not have standard rod threads or tip threads. So you might have t...

A ballistic calculator is your friend! The farthest I have ever taken a deer is 238 yards (I think, its
been a while). Personally, I think I was young and foolish for taking that shot with a single sh...

It all depends on your loads or the type of ammo. With a 200 yard zero you could be looking at a 25" to a
40" drop at 500 yards. Roughly double that for a 1000 and add in windage. That is why I don't ...

With that said...if ever given the chance to hunt elk, it would be hard not to go with a 45/70 in maybe a
