Bama, I agree there aren't many groups that thrilled me either. Leaving the range I pretty much
wrote off 150's in this gun. The method used was the Dan Newberry OCW at 100 and 200 yards.
    There was wi...

Awesome day at the range. It was about 40 degrees with a 7-10 mph wind coming right at me. It
made for fast barrel cooling. I hoped to find a cheap but accurate 150gr hunting load. It shot
    respectable...

I picked up some 150gr Hornady Interlock SP's and worked up 50 loads. Started at 43 grains of
IMR 4064 and increased .3gr up to 45.7gr. I also picked up a box of Federal Fusion 165gr to use
    as a basel...

I can't wait to get out and shoot it. I'm going to do a load work up beforehand. Anyone have a
good hunting bullet suggestion? Preferably in the area of150-168gr. I usually keep Varget and

our annual hog hunt a friend brought along a tikka T3 lite in .270 win. It had the smoothest
    bolt of any ou...

I finally got around to replacing the factory stock on my Remington 700 SPS AAC-SD. The Magpul
Hunter 700 stock has adjustable comb height and length of pull. I also purchased the Magpul
    bottom metal ...

You sound like a father who really knows and cares what his son(s) want. From what I read, I
would suggest a gun that:1. Tells your son you are proud of him2. Is accurate enough to engage
    long distanc...

Mine uses the Beretta/Benelli style choke tubes. Here's a picture of my modified choke. It came

    >While I do think I started a bit high on my initial charges(40.0), starting at 33.6 grains IMO
would've been a waste of components in this case.Better than damaging a gun or yourself. You are
    right. I...

Suggest you visit Steve's Reloading Pages....just google it, you'll find it. Then compare his
load data to what your manuals have. You'll see a big difference in what he considers a max
    load or a star...
