    I carry my SA1911A1 Mil-Spec 5" in a Blackhawk Serpa CQC paddle with a Fobus dual mag paddle. I do want
    to eventually get a compact in 9mm or .40 or .45.

    Just an FYI...You can replace that and go as light as a 19# or even a 17# mainspring with no ill effects
    ( may even slightly lighten up your trigger pull).Your recoil spring is another story. Thanks B...

    I have a SA1911A1 Mil-Spec; I have no idea the poundage of the recoil spring nor do I know the poundage
