    Mine is about an inch and 7/8ths and the guard is 2.5" top to bottom. It is pretty damn close
    to (if not) flush. It sounds like yours is awfully high. You may need risers to get what you

    If I could find an upper receiver that was of better quality and would actually eat all
    ammunition I put through it I would. Money is tight though atm.
