  Full size 1911 here. I carry at 3-4 o'clock with a forward tilt so the handle is pointing
  closer to straight up. I don't print on a under armor heat gear t-shirt.

  I have to say go with a 30-06, I hand load from 125 grn noslers. To 150 grn Barnes TSX. I took
  a mulie at 220 yards with the 125 grn. She went 30 yards and flopped over. The .308 averages
