I didn't really look into it since I didn't want to go with a scout scope but, pretty sure the
rear sight dovetail is 3/8". So a 3/8" to Weaver rail should work, and then you can mount
whatever scope ...

Wet sanded in increments from about 500 to 1200 grit and then polished with Mother's Mag
