I've got a few diesels that won't start with out a shot of "go juice" , but yea, the new ones
with glow plugs .. not a good idea. A little goes a long way!

IMR 4064 with speer 150gr Mag tip. It shoots 1 1/4 inch at 100 yards in a ruger ultralight and
a Browning BLR.

Kerosene or #1 fuel. no wax to gell, but poor lubrication properties mean you need some
additives. Some additives like Howes will help prevent gelling of #2 fuel.

For close range deer and elk I'd go with a Marlin in 45-70. My oldest son shoots a BLR in 308,
