Congratulations on finding the Brig. What sort of competition are you looking at doing?

  • Posted in thread: P07 'frame bulge' addressed? on 08-20-2014 at 08:08 PM
Those were the early guns. I have the later "B" serial, and no problems with the bulge. I have
about 4000 rounds through mine so far (used for competition for a bit).

  • Posted in thread: Beretta M9A1 Holster Makers? on 07-21-2014 at 09:59 PM
I do a bit of trail riding, and I like it for that. The other reason is I shoot 3Gun, and with
all the running/up/down and what not, guns do fall out. If it falls out, automatic DQ. So,
    competitors ru...

I had no idea when I bought this gun that it would be so hard to find a holster for it. I know
I can get one from Blade-Tech, but I am looking for one that has Level 2 retention (and not a
    thigh holst...

  • Posted in thread: Trigger on 06-30-2014 at 04:57 PM
I used both the curved and flat triggers. The flat trigger seems to have a love/hate
relationship with people. One nice feature with the flat trigger is that it can be pulled from
    anywhere on the face...

Both kits do the same thing, just in different ways. I personally have never installed a PRP
kit, but I have shot them. I have installed SP kits in mine, and I really cannot tell a
    difference between ...

  • Posted in thread: Sig 1911's any good? on 11-14-2012 at 04:37 AM
The Army dictated that the extractor had to be internal (along with the grip safety). You don't
see that on the 1935..I have a Sig 1911 that I bought last year, and used for practice and
    competition t...

Swedish Mora Knives.. The inexpensive $10 knife is fantastic, and the carbon steel blades hold
an edge. They really are a workhorse of a knife.

  • Posted in thread: Remington 870 express tactical 4% failure to eject. on 11-10-2012 at 02:13 AM
This sounds a lot like the issue with the barrel extension being rough as outlined here: have
2 870's, and I run thousands of rounds through them each year in 3 Gun (I run one, my 2 boys
    run the othe...

What they are saying is you *could* have a problem, as some lawyer could say you had a
negligent discharge due to your pistol being unsafe. I have yet to hear of or see a case where
    this was used, but...
