    I'd recommend spending the extra $100 - $150 to get a +P rated or .357 mag. revolver.+1 big
    time on this get a sp101 or gp100 in trust me u put 500 Rds through an airweight u ain't gonna
    want to to it...

    Don't own a lcr but I wound think with 38 sp s it would be a decent range gun. Also the j frame
    smiths are easy to carry and mine is a great range gun out to about 25 yards I have a great
    time with it...
