Still hunting with a 6.8 but next year I may try the 30 Herrett I've been testing. I've gone
from 6.8 to 6mmAR to 264LBC to 5.56x42 and back to the 6.8. Now that Federal gold dots are
$12-13 a box it ...

We are building ARs in bigger calibers for hogs, the 6.8 is the most popular but also the
6mmBR, 30ARP which is a slightly shortened 308, a 358ARP is a 358 Win shortened to be Indiana

A good trigger will allow the shooter and the barrel to shoot to their full capability. If the
barrel will only shoot a 4" group with a Geissele trigger then the next step is to try

Most AR15 piston rifles on the market are retro fits. They use the AR180 piston system that was
developed in the 60s and retro fit it to the same round AR15 carrier, some with intragal keys

Something to watch for in 5.56 barrels, I have seen this in many brands, even the 1:8 twist
stainless.Many inexpensive brands button rifle the barrel and thread the muzzle without stress
