    The circle on the right has no pin and I have no clue about what kind of pin is on the left.

    The housing set up that the currently has is like the one on the left. But it's the 1943 style
    with the vertical groves. I will take a picture of it and upload it for you so you can see.

    No its a 1911a1 from Springfield. The main spring housing is missing the pin that keeps that
    plunger inside the housing.

    Ok guys I got a question. I got a 1911 that is missing the plunger retainer spring in the main
    spring housing. Any thoughts on this? Where could I pick up another pin?
