For brine mix I use 1/3 cup of non iodized salt and 1/3 cup of brown sugar to 1 quart of water.
Usually 24 hrs. Pat dry before cooking or smoking and dont add any more salt to the seasoning.

Some terms I've heard used for "reflex" is holographic or heads up. Just think of Meprolight,
