Love my 5906 as well! My old 639 is coming back tomorrow after a complete Teddy Jacobson

This is my 5906 LEO trade-in that I posted here already. But, this it currently. A very
talented 3rd Gen gunsmith bead blasted it for me. He polished all of the moving parts that
    touch or move togethe...

I agree. Also swapping handguards isn't something most people do that often and if you do, then
use the buddy system or buy a cheap tool.I agree. If it isn't such a big deal, then, the fact
    that Ruger...

For me, I have a love/hate relationship with Ruger. I bought my first one in 1973 and now have
several. Generally they make fine firearms but then they do the stupidest things. Usually
    things that the...

    AR-15. Maybe I am missing something but don't you have a factory Ruger???Yes, I own a Ruger
    AR-556. And, w...

Well anyway, next time you call Ruger ask them if they're going to fix their BCG problem. They
really need to address that, especially with the SR-556.I hope they do. For the time being my
    PSA Premium...

That argument might work with your buddies and mother but most of us here have been down that
road already! :D Call it a build, if you want, a lot of us do but know there is a difference.
    Just like th...

Sounds like assembling to me. My AR "builds" are actually assembly of the parts I wanted. Even
when putting together uppers from receivers, gas blocks, barrels, barrel nuts, rails, BCGs,
    etc. Same goe...

Not a build. All you would be doing is snapping an upper and lower together, installing rear
sight on rail and inserting bolt/charging handle. IMHO with prices as low as they are now it
    makes no sense ...
