Glock 19. Btw, the biggest seller by far in the largest GS in my area I was told.Never in stock
for more than a couple of days. Ditto on the magazines too.

  • Posted in thread: Are all Poly guns cheap? on 05-12-2015 at 07:55 PM
Mainly talking Sig Sauer here. I know poly frame guns are cheaper to make. But it seems like
only the Glock gets a pass on this whole thing. All the others get branded as "cheap", not just
    cheaper to ...

  • Posted in thread: STI Trogan (.45) or Kimber Stainless Target II? on 05-09-2015 at 10:00 PM
I had both of these 1911's in my hand today. I like the finish and the trigger better on the
Kimber but the STI with it's thinner grip felt great in my hand. Fit also looked of very well
    quality on th...

  • Posted in thread: Kimber recoil spring question. on 05-09-2015 at 12:40 PM
That is designed as a carry gun, not a target gun. The recoil spring is heavy for full power
"carry" ammo. Leave it alone for that purpose. For target shooting with lighter loads (Cast
    bullet, SWC's, e...

I have a Kimber Tactical Entry II and noticed the stock recoil spring is noticeably heavier
than all the other 1911's I've handled. Why is that? The gun works great, but I'm curious abut
    the design an...

I dealt with the same BS while living in CT. I got out of there as soon as I could and went
deep south. I didn't like the idea of paying high taxes and then being denied my freedom.

I have one but was told it is a pre model 15 as it has a serial number dating it back to 1950.
It's in excellent original condition, almost too nice to use. The original wood grips are mint
    and I love...

No-one wants to be a victim Rampco. But not everyone is willing even to stick up for
themselves. Certainly not anymore. In a wimpified country. Take AR10 there for example...I
    pulled the trigger (12x)...

Self defence is all about the vibrant living. The end of old age, one protects what exactly?
The scene from Troy, where old ruler sneaks into the attacking army's tent with no weapons is
    more realisti...

Always had this idea after going on a call as a beat cop years ago where a WWII Vet passed away
in his bed. His son informed me that when we moved his dad's body, a loaded gun would be found
    under his...
