Bolt face faces the cartridge. The little hole in the middle is the firing pin channel. You
don't want to gunk it up. The body is the shaft that slides inside the action.

The original TT is dangerous to carry cocked, because it cannot be locked. Especially in a
modern holster. Unless you have a later variation, thumb safety is the first mod to consider.
