  ruger 10/22. the bolt hold open is a little awkward at first, but u get used to it. not to
  mention all the aftermarket stuff.

  mossberg recently made an ar-15 looking magazine for there mossberg 702, holds 25 rounds and
  gos for about 25 bucks. get about 5 of those, a sling, a scope, ammo, ammo, ammo, and more
  ammo.
