I just realized I typed 35 special, I meant to say 38 Special rounds. These are not crimped at
all, they are for revolvers. Does the fact that the rounds are not crimped change anything?

It would be More economical to refinish the stock, this would be a good idea as long as the
stock is not split and doesn't have any cracks. There are many tutorials online for doing so.

Im not planning on doing this, Just thinking about how one could reverse engineer the trunions,
