S&W M&P Compact 9. More capacity than a single stack, easier to conceal that a full size. Using
grip adapters, full size 17rd mags will fit. Price is around $400, less if you shop around.

I know aftermarket triggers are all the rage in M&P's these day, just be advised it will void
your factory warranty.
