I don't plan on buying more of the Russian ammo. How much does the spring cost and where could
I find one?Brownell’s has the Wolff extra power hammer spring, p/n 969-000-100WB, for $4.99 or

I'd believe so, the springs was already on the hammer when I opened the parts kit.My SIG 556R
has a very heavy hammer spring to light off the very hard Russian primers. You might consider a
    heavier sp...

Just a Mil spec Stag arms LPK triggerI would think that would provide sufficient energy to set
off those hard primers. You could experiment with a heavier hammer spring. The easy way to do
    that is to ...

The one thing I find is that my gun does NOT like the cheap steel cased ammo. I was at the
range Saturday, and out of 20 rounds, 9 of the Tula 55gr FMJs went off. I took the bolt out to

an AR. I absolutely loved it and can't wait to start my second build next week. The other great
    thing abou...

I now have about 700 rounds through it and it functions great, I have had zero issues and the
rate at which I can dump mags is ridiculous. I am glad I got to put the time and money into
    this build, it...

40 yes after first firing an M16 while in the Marine Corps, I finally decided to take the
plunge. First was a DPMS .308. That worked much better than I expected. I have since gotten a
    .223 to go with ...

The only thing I would change is the barrel twist. I favor an 8" twist. I handles the light
stuff fine and handles up to at least 77 gr. well, too. I have a 16" RRA SS Predator Pursuit
    barrel on one 1...
