  • Posted in thread: Trade my Glock on 05-19-2013 at 12:50 AM
The Nano is a tiny little 9mm. I have shot it but do not own one personally. My friend who has
it has reported only one stoppage in its breaking period. after which has been completely
    reliable. The s...

  • Posted in thread: Is 7.62x39 an acceptible hunting round,,, you decide on 05-18-2013 at 08:06 PM
I use my Ak for deer, hogs, yotes and other varmints. I keep my shooting under a hundred yards
if possible. Use soft points and place your shots right and you will fill your freezer.

  • Posted in thread: What is the ideal handgun to conceal while hiking? on 05-14-2013 at 09:01 PM
It really depends. When I go hiking I often try to keep my pack is light as possible. I often
carry a ruger sp101 or a ruger lc9. I used to carry my super black hawk .44 but its kind of
    hard to rock c...

  • Posted in thread: .380 HP, What's the point? on 05-14-2013 at 08:55 PM
Any caliber under 9x19 gets FMJ or other round nose ammo for me. My lcp barrel is so dang short
you cant expect much penetration. Just my method of doing things.

  • Posted in thread: Sp101 Ruger on 05-14-2013 at 08:16 PM
Ahh the sp101 the toughest commercial snub in existence. It is my favorite snub to shoot at the
    range. Great hiking gun also.

  • Posted in thread: 380 carry ammo. on 05-14-2013 at 08:09 PM
The only .380 I still carry on a regular basis is my lcp. I carry FMJs in it. I just don't like
the penetration of HPs out of a .380 of such a short barrel. Anything 9mm and up for me get
    hollow point...

  • Posted in thread: Your favorite .32 caliber handguns on 05-14-2013 at 07:59 PM
My favorite .32s are the Colt 1903, NAA Guardian, Beretta tomcat and the kel tec p32. Yes they
are under powered by todays standards but they serve me as back ups and last resort weapons.
    Except the 1...

  • Posted in thread: 7mm mag. or 300win mag on 05-14-2013 at 07:42 PM
Of the 2 I prefer the .300 win mag. But I only use my .300 when I know I going to be dropping
something at of 300 yards. Under 300 yards the .308 or the .270 are my preferences. Under 100
    yards. .44 m...

  • Posted in thread: 20" 7.62X39 AR-15,,, finally ready for night hog hunts on 05-14-2013 at 07:37 PM
Very nice I've been interested in getting an AR in 7.62x39 but other things have come first. I
currently use an AK for hogs. I don't really hog hunt over 100 yards so its plenty accurate for
    that purp...

  • Posted in thread: spam can opener on 04-29-2013 at 05:10 AM
I opened one not to long ago with one of those old school swiss army style can openers. Ive
never had a dedicated spam can opener I just improvise. It all depends how much you want that
    ammo.
