  I use to run a 22 conversion in a 1/9 twist barrel. I now have a dedicated Spikes Tactical 22 upper. It
  has a 1/16 twist green mountain barrel. Alot better accuracy.

  I had a factory Oly Arms AR-15 45acp rifle. It was fun but the mags suck. They use modified 45 Uzi mag
  and are very hard to find.

  I had a Kel-tec that accepted glock mags. It was good but I picked up a Calico for just a little more and
  it functions much better. Plus 100 round drums of 9mm is alot more fun then 33rd glock mags.

  I am a firm beleaver in building the AR you want. That way you don't have to tie yourself to one brand.
  You can make the AR what ever you want. I have a some factory rifles but I enjoy my custom build...

  and Wesson for Gen 3, revolvers, and M&P pistols, Remington 870, 1100, and 700, Colt M-16/AR-15...

  I would go with 7.62x39. Alot cheaper to shoot. 1000 rounds under $225.00 shipped.
