hi mate sorry to sound rude,so was i correct when i said it was the bottom part of the c that should be honned down a little

Yes. Other than some careful honing on the contact area of the Actuator sear (bottom of the "C"), that is all it took. I had it apart, and back together several times before I got it to 18oz., but I didn't want to take too much off at once, or get the contact surface of the sear uneven.
