    They both kill deer well IF hit in the vitals with a good bullet. If deer was MY goal I would choose the
    25-06 as recoil, price per round, rifle weight are all less with the 25-06.

    The gun on the right is a standard, not jungle, British SMLE that has had the stock sporterized. The
    other is definately a Swiss Rubin but instead of an 1889 I believe it is a model 1911.

    MSUP 752, got to ask how shooting lead bullets blew up a Glock? I have never delt with Glocks so this is

    7x5 mauser,you get no arguement from me. While us pre-64 guys like our early guns, we also realise the
    later model 70's are great guns as well.

    There is a big difference between restoring and refinishing. What type of restoration are you planning?

    Use loading data for cast bullets when loading plated bullets. DO NOT use plated bullets in Glocks.There
