  listen, im not stupid, the base pad that comes with that clip does not fit. i understand it
  will stick out of the handle a little, but not so far that it wont chamber a round. don't jump
  to conclusion...

  thats what i thought so i took it off and tried it, still didn't fit

  i did break it down and lube it up. i bought a wilson mag (47D) that the gun dealer recommended
  and it will not fit all the way into the gun. it sticks out of the handle about an 1/8".

  i have a factory mag, and kimber is sending me a new one. the clip that came with the gun was
  acting up. the gun dealer i bought my gun from suggested a wilson clip. i purchased that clip
  and it didn'...

  i bought it brand new from a dealer. its a .45 acp. i called kimber and they gave me the run
  around, so did my dealer. i posted this elsewhere and people are telling me this is normal, but
  i dont see ...

  i just recently purchased a kimber custom II 1911. i fired 9 rounds out of it and it jammed
  twice. when i try to chamber a round it jams as well. kimber told me that this is normal for
  "high end guns"...
