I ran 300 rounds through a Rental 226 last December at Pop Gun's in Indianapolis IN, and had 3 misfires. But hey -- thats a rental gun :)

It also loves Hornady Zombie Max Hollow Points. I keep a mag of them in every night just in case ;)

I also strongly prefer the grip angle of an M&P compared to a GLOCK. The M&P just fits better in the hand to me.

Ive got a Pride Fowler SOPS-33m Red Dot on mine :) Its a little large, but holds zero perfectly, and gives a great sight picture.

Do you have a firing pin lock? Mine does not have a manual safety. However, it does have a firing pin lock. Mine uses a little key that allows me to engage or disengage the safety.
