Gravity

Gravity is pulling both bullets down at the same rate (assuming both bullets are the same). Both bullets should hit the ground at the same time, if the ground is level, and if the fired bullet was...

Perception is Reality!!!!!!!!!!

I am fully aware of the performance characteristics of various bullet designs, but there is more to the subject than just guns and bullets. A shooting is not the end of a problem, if only serves as...

Fmj

Full metal jacket may not be the best man stopper, but it's my choice. If you're in court, and that's where you are going if you shoot someone, you don't want a lawyer (like me) carrying on about...

Holster / Unload

In all events I have ever been in or to;

Never draw your handgun unless on the firing line or in a designated "safe" area.
Don't load your weapon unless your are on the firing line, and then only...

Sigma

Hands down I would go with the Sigma. It is as good as a gun as anyone "needs" and right now S&W is offering a $50 rebate and an additional 2 free magazines for each Sigma, or M&P for that matter...

They carry the line of Bell & Carson stocks, maybe one of those will work for you. Bell & Carson makes a fine product and Midway is a solid company to order from.

Bushmaster 9mm

My Bushmaster has only failed me with one brand of ammo. China Sports, I don't remember if it's one word or two, but it was trash. My Sig and the Bushmaster refused to fully chamber the China junk....

Play Nice Boys

As a group we need to mind our manners. What we publish here is a reflection on all gun owners. Bickering in the open gives critics motivation. :)

Eattin' Good in the Neighborhood

If it's a game animal and I kill it, I eat it.
If it's a pest, I kill it.
Normal people don't kill animals just to kill them. They have long medical terms to describe people like that, terms I...

Count to 10

Amen Longshot!

If we are talking deer hunting, and I assume we are, I tell them to count to 10 before they shoot. That way they can calm down, and make sure it really is a deer! I never want to...

M16 / Ak

This rates right up there with the Ford and Chevy debate. Either rifle will handle a typical armed conflict. Which one you feel most comfortable with is really the only question worth answering.

I was wondering if anyone has any hands on experience with the Remington SPR shotguns. Last I heard these were being made in Russia (Spartan is the name I remember). They look good on the Remington...

Handgun / Pistol

Most people use either word. Some use, "hawg leg." The word doesn't matter, or does it?
I must admit that I was wrong about what you want not being made. I looked in my safes and came up with an...

USP Tactical 45

My taste sometimes run expensive, but a USP Tactical 45 sounds like it would be right up your alley. A used one might fall into your budget range.

I would bet the gun in the picture is either a toy or or some home modified experiment. The gun holders right hand does not have a natural hold on a pistol grip - maybe there is some kind of sawed...

Sorry Tex, 3.9 for 2 shots at 2 feet is slow even if you had a thumb break holster. You need to cut that time at least in half.
