I didn't know that, I never seen any 22's by any maker in a 40 rd. box and have be shooting for over 40 yrs. I guess you learn something new every day.

picked up 6 box's of American eagle today at Dicks for $2.49 a box but the box's were "40" count not 50. so it looks like the ammo makers are getting in on the less for more boat.

not only will the spring kit help but once you have the gun open, a little work on the rebound slide and a good cleaning and oiling also does wonders. I used the Wilson combat set.
