light oil every 6 months whethere used or not. Plus good scrubbing with Hot soapy water followed by Hoppes #9 followed by light oil for 3 days in a row if I shoot black powder or corrosive primers.

Consider them a TV dinner with 5 year shelf life. They are a meal but you can build a better and cheaper one with a little preplanning. I quit buying them at $3 each and they are quite a bit more...

So far no ill effects except bad flavor.

Crackers and desserts are as good as they ever were. Eggs are gross and taste...
